Group Cycling Module (PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT)

Broaden your knowledge and acquire the skills to teach safe, effective and enjoyable group classes. The programme offers the instructor a format that, although structured, allows individuals to develop their own class style.  
 
During the module you will cover  
 
•The benefits of group cycling classes  
 
•Setting up bikes, safety issues & common injuries  
 
•Adapting teaching skills and mastering cycling techniques & drills  
 
•How to excite, inspire and motivate your class participants and develop group dynamics  
 
•Ideas for content and styles of classes  
 
To become a certified Group Cycling Instructor, applicants will be assessed at the end of the 2nd day OR may submit a video* presentation 12 weeks after completion of the Module.  
 
*Please note that there is an additional cost of £30 for video assessment.  
 
It is essential that you have background knowledge of the body and how it works. A recap of anatomy and physiology is useful before you attend the course.
