Salary: SCP 11 £14,197 (pay award pending)
Based at Caldicot Leisure Centre
Monmouthshire County Council runs popular and successful Advance Health & Fitness Suites at their four Leisure Centres in Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow and Monmouth.
We are looking for qualified and experienced fitness professionals to complement our existing fitness teams at the above site. Customer service skills are essential and you must have an enthusiastic and adaptable approach to work.
The Leisure Centres have undergone major refurbishments including Advance Fitness Suites with 40-station state of the art Technogym Wellness equipment, also ‘Children’s Gyms’ boasting ZigZag innovative resistance equipment and spin cycles at Caldicot and Chepstow.
Working both on your own and as part of a team you will be involved in all aspects of fitness operations, including inducting new members, managing member fitness programmes, retention, marketing and organising promotions. We encourage individuals to apply who can demonstrate experience of working in a health and fitness environment and delivery of health and fitness services to the public.
Appointment to this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and is subject to an enhanced disclosure check.
