Fitness Wales Teachers Register

The Fitness Wales Teachers Register was first established in 1980.

Instructors who have taken out insurance through Fitness Wales can elect to have their details circulated to employers looking for regular and cover staff.  All instructors on the Register are covered by public liability insurance and have also kept up to date with current methods of training as of the date printed.

The full register includes:

• your name
• county affiliated to
• contact telephone number
• details of relevant qualifications

The current industry standard qualification for Instructors is a Level 2 in Exercise and Fitness.  An Instructors insurance policy only covers them for activities in which they have achieved a certificate of competence (ie. have been assessed in).  

Fitness Wales cannot be held responsible for the actions of Instructors on the register and as such all instructors should be subject to your own vetting procedures.
